Description
Prepped LG, but found the new, “unusual” games throw you off? I’ll be doing a live course covering these exclusively.
I’m planning on a single 2-3 hour session. But, if it takes longer than expected to go through the materials, I’ll hold a second live session as part of the same cost. I intend this to be thorough.
Included:
- Walkthroughs and strategies on some of the hardest new games
- how to brainstorm ways to set them up
- Rule substitution questions
- how to prepare in the context of a whole section + going fast on easy games. (Will review some of the easier games from 79-81 to show what I mean)
Per the last point, I realized that I often (but not always) have more varied game times on the newer games. I may take a while on the unusual games, but go through the easier games much faster. In other words, I never aim for even times across games. Doing well on unusual games thus often depends on solving the easier games quickly.
Haven’t got an exact syllabus yet, but will be covering unusual games from 77-81, as well as famous ones from earlier tests.
