2. Novel trend? The earliest theories mentioned in the passage come from the 1970s, they’re hardly new.
3. The passage never says that natural law and legal positivism are better than the theories from the 1970s.
4. Which misinterpretation? The passage is not making an argument. It’s just a neutral description of five different theories.
5. The theories are indeed inconsistent, but the passage doesn’t try to reconcile the various theories. The author only describes each theory.
