1. The author said the blues have some similarities to organized religion. But that’s different from saying they are organized religion.
2. The author doesn’t mention modern forms of the blues. 
3. The author doesn’t mention other types of African American folk art, apart from spirituals. This answer is too general for our limited evidence. 
4. Hard to say. There could be other ways the blues produces tension. 
5. CORRECT. Lines 9-12 and 29-30 make this clear: the blues aims to transform the listeners’ sadness into something better.
