For list questions, go through the rules and use them to eliminate answers one by one.
Rule 1 eliminates C. GG can’t start on the half hour.
I did find it hard to eliminate this answer. I solved it by counting R, T, W as 1.0, 1.5, and 2.0. I then realized that GG starts on 2.5, which doesn’t work.
Rule 2 eliminates A. T has to start on the half-hour. I had the same difficulty eliminating this answer as I did with C. I got around it by counting.
Rule 3 eliminates E. R has to go before S.
Rule 4 eliminates D. If W is before T, then W has to be immediately before T.
B is CORRECT. It violates no rules.

Hi,
I’m working on this question and I might just being missing something completely obvious. In my book (the Official PrepTests book), (B) for #17 reads: Roamin’, Sundown, Waterloo, Terry, Generations. Generations falls last, at 3:30. This violates rule 1.
I answered (C), which in my book reads: Roamin’, Terry, Waterloo, Generations, Sundown. Contrary to your explanation of why you eliminated (C), Generations airs at 3pm (which doesn’t violate rule 1).
It seems to me that the answers were swapped in my book. Am I missing something? Thank you.
Tutor Lucas (LSAT Hacks) says
For (B), Generations does not start at 3:30. Let’s breakdown the schedule:
1:00 — Roamin’
1:30 — Sundown
2:00 — Waterloo
2:30 Terry
3:00 Generations
Remember, Roamin, Sundown, Waterloo, and Terry are each 30 minutes in length.
Now let’s look at (C):
1:00 — Roamin’
1:30 — Terry
2:00 — Waterloo
2:30 — Generations <–Here's the issue. Generations cannot start on the half-hour.
3:30 — Sundown

Hi Graeme! I had a question on LSAT prep test 65, section 2, question 17. Maybe i’m not understanding the elimination method you used, but how did you eliminate A? I’ve looked at it over and over again, and i’m stumped. Please help!
Tutor Lucas (LSAT Hacks) says
Let’s breakdown the schedule of (A):
1:00 — Generations
2:00 — Roamin
2:30 — Waterloo
3:00 — Terry
3:30 — Sundown
Note that the rules say that Terry must start on the half hour rather than the hour — so we can eliminate (A) because it has Terry at 3:00.

Hello! I am Going over this test now and I am stumped on how you eliminated A still- I see how you have it diagramed but you skipped 1:30? And in the other set ups 1:30 was included .. so just confused here
Tutor Rosalie (LSATHacks) says
Here’s the breakdown for A:
1 PM – G (1h)
2 PM – R (.5h)
2:30 PM – W (.5h)
3 PM – T (.5h) –> VIOLATE RULE 2
3:30 PM – S (.5h)
T needs to start on a half hour, so it can’t start at 3PM. Thus you can eliminate A.
