ARGUMENTS: Annette says that Sefu should take town council members on trip to show them how his plan is working in other cities.

Sefu says he has a vested interest in the plan and doesn’t want to make it seem like he’s buying councillors’ votes.

ANALYSIS: To solve a point at issue question, there are two criteria:

1. Both authors must have an opinion on an answer.
2. One must say yes, and another must say no.

Most answers fail the first criterion. One author will have an opinion, and the other won’t. Don’t fall into the trap of reading an opinion into an argument just to make an answer easier to choose.

Here, the disagreement is simple. Annette says Sefu should take councillors on a trip. Sefu says that he shouldn’t.
