DISCUSSION: We’re looking for something that Passage B claims, but Passage A doesn’t. If you look at our paragraph summaries, you’d notice that while both Passages talked a lot about the necessity of lying, Passage B’s final paragraph mentions ethics, which doesn’t come up in Passage A.

1. CORRECT. Passage B concerns autobiographies and thus representing real events. It discusses the ethics of incorporating falsehoods in these depictions.
2. Passage A mentions the obviousness of some lies, but Passage B doesn’t.
3. Both Passages mention this distinction, but neither comment on how significant this difference is.
4. Neither passage mention this.
5. The subtle vs. obvious distinction is only mentioned in Passage A.
