3. Only Oakes mentions a suspect, and he just says James should put him in handcuffs. Neither of the critics mentions suspense.
4. Only Waugh mentions a complex plot, and she thinks that should be used to fool the reader. Neither critic mentions holding the reader’s attention.
5. Actually, Waugh implies that James’ plots are too easy to understand. The plots should fool the reader.
