LSAT 104 | Section 3 | Reading Comprehension: Q16

LSAT Preptest 104 explanations

RC Question 16 Explanation

DISCUSSION: Lines 1-5 are the most important. They tell us what happens when the pigeons are released.

All we know is that the pigeons choose their route very quickly.

The wrong answers are nonsense that are never mentioned in the passage.

___________

  1. The author never mentions releasing pigeons at the same site twice.
  2. CORRECT. See lines 4-5. The pigeons only need about 60 seconds to choose a route.
  3. As with A, the author never mentions releasing pigeons at the same site twice.
  4. Lines 4-5 contradict this. The pigeons decide very quickly how to fly home.
  5. Lines 1-5 don’t say what the pigeons do before deciding on their route home.
