DISCUSSION: The passage does nothing but talk about the platypus’ bill. That’s the main point.

1. This only describes paragraph 2. The passage is much broader.
2. CORRECT. The passage is mainly devoted to describing Bohringer and Scheich’s studies. Those studies talk about platypus bills. 
3. This leaves out Scheich. Also, the passage seems to accept Bohringer’s work as valid, without assessing it.
4. This is the reverse of C: this answer choice ignores Bohringer. 
5. This is very vague. The passage discussed many other things: the two studies, how the platypus found prey, electric impulses, etc.
