DISCUSSION: On this type of question, look back to the passage when you think you have the right answer. If you’re right, you’ll always be able to find a line to confirm it.

- This is tricky. Lines 22-25 make clear that there are more Okapis than we thought. But we don’t know there are “many times more”. It could be there’s only 75% more, for example.
- We still have unanswered questions. The fourth paragraph has some examples. The answers given are only hypotheses.
- CORRECT. This seems likely. The Okapi’s habits (not traveling in groups, staying in forests) and coloration (camouflage) make it hard to find Okapis in general. Hunters were trying to catch them, so presumably these factors made finding Okapis hard for hunters too.
- The first part is true. The second is contradicted by lines 37-40.
- We don’t know. The Okapi’s predators live in the border. Maybe Okapis would just get eaten more often.
