To understand this explanation, you need to read the setup section. So do that if you haven’t yet. Here’s the setup diagram again:
In the setup, we saw that each group must have an ending value of six. Class 1 buildings are worth four, class 2 are worth two, and class 3 buildings are worth one.
This is like question 20. Any group which adds to six is fine. Any group which doesn’t is the right answer.
D is CORRECT. F + Y = 5.

I’m glad you caught this. I realized pretty quickly you could just convert everything to Class 3 building equivalents and everyone had 6. So as long as everyone had 6 everything is kosher. Ended up finishing the game in like 4 minutes with set up or something ridiculous, even though at first glance it appears tricky. But if I hadn’t realized that trick probably it would have taken easily over 10 and may have been quite time consuming if you tried go through multiple trade scenarios. I was actually concerned I missed something because there was no way it could be THAT easy.
