Free explanations for the old format LSAT PrepTests, by LSATHacks. This page has free explanations for LSAT preptests in the legacy format. Most people should use the new format explanations instead which use the current LSAT format.
From 1991 until June 2024, LSAT preptsets were numbered from 1-94, and included logic games. This page has explanations for exams in that format including logic games. The logical reasoning and reading comprehension questions are the same as the new exams, but arranged to match the old preptests.
The explanations cover both the right answers and the wrong answers. To convert between the formats, use the LSATHacks Preptest Converter.
Scroll to find the preptest you’re working on. Click the image or the link to go to that preptest. On every explanation page, the test image brings you back to the main page for that test. Good luck!
Note that preptests 2-17, 21 and 23 were not converted to the new format. These preptests are a good source of additional practice.
