Description
These seminars are aimed at advanced students. They’re fairly short in length, and have a unique format:
- I picked some representative questions from tests 132-136 (mostly – there are some questions from later tests where required to show good examples for each questiont ype)
- I did the questions on my own, timed
- I took detailed notes on exactly what I did on each question and at each point during the setup
- In the videos, I walked through these notes and explained my own timed method
The goal of the seminar is to show how an expert, 175+ scorer approaches questions in real time. (I got a 177, officially). There are lots of things that I simply skip over, and other factors I pay particular attention to as shortcuts. The goal of the seminars is to show you how to approach each section as I do. These are advanced seminars because they assume some background knowledge, and go at a fast pace. I’m assuming you already know the basics. I don’t think there’s anything else on the LSAT market exactly like them. Enjoy!
- Length: RC is five hours long. LR is a bit over 15 hours, as it is a much larger subject.
- Format: These are recorded videos which you can watch as often as you’d like. It’s best to do the questions from the videos before watching them.
- Tests used: Mostly 132-136. I wanted to use the smallest number of tests possible so that you wouldn’t need to use many fresh preptests in order to follow along.
- Already done the tests? Perfect. I often suggest people do the questions before going through the seminars, so this is no issue. Though if you haven’t done them, that’s fine too.

For those who feel like they reached a plateau in their LSAT studies, Graeme’s LSAT mastery seminars are for you. I have gone through Kaplan and Powerscore books and while these have been beneficial, the mastery seminars helped me reach a new understanding with the material. Graeme gives you his philosophy for attacking each section and follows up by pointing to specific techniques that he uses. Before going through Graeme’s principle and parallel reasoning sections within the LR mastery seminar, I use to feel very intimidated with these types of questions. But after learning his simple techniques, I now choose the right answer more frequently and feel excited when I see parallel reasoning and principle application questions. This is just one of many examples though.
Moreover, the comments sections allows students to dive deeper into the techniques and concepts Graeme covers within the seminars. Comments are responded promptly and thoroughly. The only bad thing I have to say about the mastery seminars is that I wish I started using them sooner.

Graeme’s Mastery Seminars provided me with fresh perspectives on both test taking strategy and problem solving techniques. Many of his techniques are unique to the seminars (I say this after having used other video courses/prep books over my prep history), which is why I believe that they are a worthy investment.
Although subtle, many of Graeme’s techniques, if applied correctly, can greatly increase ones test-taking efficiency. Whereas I used to struggle to finish timed logical reasoning sections, after practicing the techniques presented in the seminar (in conjunction with completing timed excersies and meeting with Graeme for personal tutoring), I have been able to reach the point where I now have enough time at the end of an LR section to go back and check 2-3 problems.
I believe that Graemes emphasis on achieving efficiency indirectly leads to improvements in accuracy for the following reason: if you now have time to go back and check difficult problems at the end of a section, you now are able to potentially catch errors which you might have not had the chance to do if you had finished the section with no time remaining. I would thus recommend the seminars to anybody seeking to fine-tune their performance in the pursuit of a stellar score.

Like some people who reviewed before me, I was skeptical about any kind of tutoring. The test is right in front of me, I have more prepbooks than I can count – why would I need online lectures? Well, I was wrong.
The mastery seminars are truly MASTERY seminars. If you’re getting just a few wrong per section and want those last few points to blast into the 170s, this seminar will do your process WONDERS. Graeme shows you what kind of mastery and control of the test you can achieve, whichever section type you need help on. I started with the logic games seminar, then found it so useful that I got the logical reasoning seminar. Then I decided why not buy reading comprehension so I can stop missing those two or three points? So here I am with all three seminars, happy as a clam.
Graeme won’t tell you ready-made secret formulas for 180s. That doesn’t exist. What he WILL do is show you what it takes for anyone to get a +175 score given the nature of the test. They’re specific enough but open-ended enough that you can adapt it to your own study routines and LSAT strategy. His insight is worth every penny.
I bought the mastery seminars when my PTs were around 166. Now I’m scoring in the low-to-mid 170s. Don’t waste a day – get the mastery seminars and start watching now.

Before I took Graeme’s courses, I was too prideful to admit that I needed tutoring. I’ve never needed tutoring in ANYTHING in my life. But the LSAT is a different animal that requires the best guidance from those who know it well and, most importantly, can teach it well.
Graeme’s mastery seminars have helped me tremendously. I’m now approaching most LR questions and LG through the lens of an expert. I used to struggle immensely with LR questions but Graeme’s tips in understanding the structure of arguments along with understanding how the evidence supports (or does not support) the conclusion, and prephrasing the right answer have helped me spot out the traps and understand why they are wrong.
I was skeptical in paying ANY sort of money for tutoring but I believe it is money well spent if it can give you a great scholarship for law school. Overall, I highly recommend Graeme’s courses for anyone who’s looking to improve in any capacity for the LSAT.
You will not be disappointed!

I found Graeme’s mastery seminars very clear, straightforward and helpful. They offer new ways of thinking about the questions, which I found especially beneficial for logic games. For example, when the rules stipulate that V is before R and R is before H, then another rule says “H cannot be last,” Graeme would write it as V-R-H-_ rather than just V-R-H. The former provides a better visual and you no longer have to remember that H cannot go last. Another example of a great tip from Graeme for “could be true” questions is to first look at choices that could easily be fulfilled based on the rule as opposed to those that are more difficult to fulfill. This speeds up the process.

I hit a plateau after repeatedly doing pretests, so taking the seminar helped to force me to drill different question types (LR), and helped me to better actively read in RC. In the actual test I would estimate an easy improvement of 5 points. I know it’s not much, but consider I did it crash style (I finished all sessions in 2 weeks while working full time) I think if I can take my time it’ll be even more helpful. If you have more time before your test, you should definitely get this one, you can do it on your own time, repeat watching and really understood each type, it’ll definitely help with your score.

The Mastery Seminars have helped to thoroughly analyze each question and recognize where I must work on. Graeme provides the perspective of how a high scorer would approach each question: from the stimulus breakdown, prephrasing, avoiding trap answer choices, to finding the right answer accurately and quickly. I often to pause the videos to absorb Graeme’s tips and really understand the strategies that I wish to imitate when I perform on the LSAT. I look forward to further developing the skills that I have learned from the seminars.

The mastery seminars are a great addition to any study plan. Graeme makes sure to go in depth into his thinking and uses recent examples to hit home the points. The organization of the courses makes it easy to focus on problem areas and he drops extremely helpful hints throughout to help you increase your score.

I’ve tried different big name courses and explanations and they always gave a vague idea as to why answers were right/wrong. Graeme goes deep into why by proving HOW the other answers are 100% wrong and the one correct answer is 100% right. Being able to watch the videos whenever and wherever instead of having to attend a class gave me the ability to work around my own schedule. Graeme adds in important tips that gave me insight into his own thinking and how to apply those methods to my tests, allowing my score to improve. Would definitely recommend! Thanks!

I really like these courses because they teach methods that are very different than the ones offered by big name companies. While the LSAT course I took in Toronto offered explanations that would help me gain 1 or 2 points, they often made the questions more complicated than they ought to be. Graeme rips apart the arguments and focuses on the crucial elements and nuances in the LSAT that would help eliminate answer choices accurately quickly.
