LSAT 128 | Section 1 | Reading Comprehension: Q15

LSAT Preptest 128 explanations

RC Question 15 Explanation

QUESTION TEXT: The passage provides information to answer …

DISCUSSION: There’s no way to predict what the questions will be. This is why it’s important to start with a good grasp on the passage so it’s much easier to narrow down the answer choices.

Note that this is an EXCEPT question. So you’re looking for a question that is NOT answered by the passage. It’s important to be precise here, otherwise you’re making an error that costs you a simple point.

If you’re stuck between two answer choices, you haven’t done a close enough read. 4 of them will be answered somewhere in the passage, while 1 (the correct one) won’t.

___________

  1. Paragraph 1 answers this.
  2. The end of the first paragraph answers this.
  3. CORRECT. We weren’t given details on how African culture influenced Greece, just that it did, and that this influence was downplayed.
  4. The middle to end of paragraph 2 answers this.
  5. The third paragraph answers this.
