  1. The critic doesn’t mention any of this. This is just there to confuse you if you didn’t read lines 19-20.
  2. The critic didn’t say why the works were prophetic.
  3. The critic clearly says prophecy is the most important thing.
  4. CORRECT. This is implied. Since the critic thinks the works were prophetic, he must think their predictions were good. That’s another way of saying they were shrewd. If you have good (shrewd) insights you’ll probably make good predictions. 
  5. The critic thinks the paintings were important.
