LSAT 146 | Section 4 | Reading Comprehension: Q10

LSAT Preptest 146 explanations

RC Question 10 Explanation

DISCUSSION: This type of question depends on your mastery of details. When you read a passage, you don’t need to memorize all the details. But, you should know where they are, in order to find them quickly.

If you have a good map of the passage, you should be able to answer this by finding all the wrong answers in the passage and eliminating them – quickly.

It also helps to have spotted and noticed that the passage never talked about financial benefits to patrons. When reading a passage it is helpful to take note of what is not discussed.

___________

  1. Lines 28-30 or Lines 45-47.
  2. Lines 41-44.
  3. Lines 34-36.
  4. CORRECT. This wasn’t mentioned. Further, it’s hard to see this as a problem as long as the eventual (elite) buyer thought the art reflected their values.
  5. Lines 45-47.
