FAQ
Where are tests 39-59?
I haven’t written them yet. 39-61 is 23 sets of explanations. Each set is about 30,000 words, so the gap is 700,000 words.
In 2011, I wrote explanations for preptests 19-38. Then in 2012, I wrote explanations for preptest 68 onwards. In 2013 I extended this backwards to LSAT preptest 62.
So there’s currently a gap in explanations. I haven’t written anything for 39-61. I hope to do this eventually, starting with 52-61. But I have no timeline for this, as LSAT explanations take quite a while to write.
How often do you release new tests?
I usually release the new LSAT explanations about 1-2 weeks after the test comes out. Older tests don’t follow a set pattern – explanations take a while to write.
What are you working on right now?
I’ve been working on the LSAT mastery seminars.
Next, I’m going to go through tests 79 and 80 and record myself doing them timed without having seen them before. That’s why new explanations are on hold – I need to preserve the fresh material.
Once those videos are done, I’ll be making explantions for 78-80, and returning to a regular posting schedule.
After that, I should have time to proofread my past explanations for 19-28. It’s possible those will be up in 2017. However, I wouldn’t expect them anytime soon. If you really want a copy now, LSAT Blog or Cambridge LSAT has them on sale. I haven’t sold them on my site because I haven’t updated them to my current format and would rather do that first.
52-61 are next on the list after 19-28, but I wouldn’t expect those in 2017 – explanations take a while!

hi! just wondering on the progress of tests 39-59

Hi Ryan,
Graeme is currently prioritizing the most recent preptests, but when there are more updates on these earlier tests, he’ll inform the mailing list. If you’d like to sign up for the mailing list, just let me know in a reply to this comment, and I’ll add your email address.

Hey Lucas,
Will Graeme be uploading 80-85 any time soon?
FounderGraeme Blake says
I should have 80 up pretty soon.
MemberSteven says
I am really looking forward to the explanations after 80 since I feel the difficulty rises.
G says
This is really the best expl out there. Right to the point, no nonsense. When I am working on the PTs without your expl, it is so miserable to read any other expl. Keep up the good work!

Hi I love this page I’ve found it extremely helpful. I’m just wondering if preptest 78 explanations are only available to buy? Is there a free version available yet? Thank you!
TutorLucas (LSAT Hacks) says
Glad to hear that you’ve gotten so much from the site! And yes, a free version of PT78 will be available shortly!
MemberJames says
Graeme,
It is pretty well known within LSAT’s little sphere that RC is “your thing.” I’ve even wondered if you were the one to suggest the idea of low resolution summaries to 7Sage back in the day. I’m particularly interested in knowing how you tackle comparative passages. Do you give the answer choices a first pass after reading passage A? Or do you read both passages before touching the questions?
I know I’m reaching here expecting a response from you, but I’m really curious on knowing your take.
FounderGraeme Blake says
Yeah, I was. I wrote their original “memory method” article back when I did work for 7sage. They added a citation, I believe.
Actually am not yet sure what I do on comparative. I just did more of them, and started to do better. I *think* what I do is that I approach them almost like a point at issue question. I want to see where passages agree, where they disagree, and where they have no opinions on what the other one says. I do this without reference to the questions – it’s knowledge I want to have beforehand.
MemberDiamond says
Hi, when would the explanations for exams 1-37 be uploaded?
TutorLucas (LSAT Hacks) says
In the case of PT’s 29-38, they’re already uploaded. You can find them just before the FAQ on this page.
As for the explanations for PT’s 1-28, they’re in the works. But, there’s no real timeline for those tests because Graeme is starting with the explanations for the newest tests (78+) and the tests from 52-61 (and explanations do take a long time to write).

I found the LSAT hack site just a few days before I took the LSAT in September (2016). I was disappointed because I knew that these resources would help raise my score. I received my September score and was disappointed. I spent the next 4 weeks studying for the December LSAT using Graeme’s tips and raised my score 10 points! I got a 167 and am receiving emails from the top law schools in the country. I used his posts, YouTube videos, and free webinar. I’m so thankful I found Graeme’s resources. If I hadn’t, I wouldn’t have known what to do to raise my score and now my options are limitless.

Hey Graeme,
Just wanted to send my regards and tell you how much I appreciate what you’re doing with LSAT Hacks. The explanations on the site have helped me a lot.
You clearly have a knack for teaching and structuring information in a way that is most palatable to students. That is a true gift my friend. Many people are intelligent but not many people have a natural and intimate understanding of how people learn.
Just wanted to send my thanks and let you know you’re doing great stuff on here, man. Success is going to follow you down any path you travel.
FlyGirl12 says
I would just like to say, I respect your work here. I appreciate all the material that you put out here to help us, anticipating law students. May grace repay you for your kindness. Thank you.

Thanks for these!!!

Graeme,
BRUH, you da MAN! Seriously, thank you seems wholly inadequate to express how helpful your explanations are. Quick question though, (in my Tyrone Biggums voice!) “Is this the 5pm free PT 78 explanations giveaway?!” :-) Or, in my 401 K voice, when do you anticipate posting the explanations for PT 78?
100x thanks!
-Alicia

Hopefully fairly soon. I had a delay over the summer. Working on 78 and 79 now. No guarantee it will be before the Dec test date unfortunately.
