Preptest 105 Data

Preptest 105 is a new format LSAT Preptest with no logic games section. Its sections come from Preptest B (Section 1, 3 and 4) and Preptest 20 (Section 2). These preptests were administered in February 1999 and October 1996 originally. Section II is the experimental section, which does not count towards your score. It is included in order to let you simulate a four question practice test – the questions themselves are no different in style than the scored sections.

Hey Mr. Blake, appreciate all you do for us LSAT-takers. I was cruising along PT 105 when I began struggling on the RC (Section III). When I say struggling I mean really struggling, I usually miss around 6 questions but this time I scored less than half. I was sure this was the experimental section but was shocked to see that Section IV is another LR. Am I correct in believing this is one of the harder RC sections? This would make me feel slightly better, as I’m remiss to continue the test knowing my score will be so subpar.

    Thank you

I couldn’t say regarding the difficulty, but what I can say is that every section on these preptests was once an officially scored section. There’s no content different between scored and experimental. LSAC combined multiple old format preptests to form these new format preptests. Down sections are normal, it’ll go better next time. Good luck!

Hi! Glad to hear you’re enjoying the site. Unfortunately, PT 105 S3 is one we don’t have explanations for yet. But feel free to leave any questions you have from the section as a comment here and I’ll make sure to answer them!

Hi, yes, it only has the explanations written so far. So far we have maybe 2/3rds coverage of LSAT questions. It will take a while to fill everything out, but we’ve added the explanations we have rather than keep the pages down until they’re complete.
