LSAT Preptest Conversion Tables

LSAC has released new Preptests in Lawhub which do not have any logic games sections. Instead, they have two scored logical reasoning sections, one scored reading comprehension section, and one experimental section. The experimental section can be either LR or RC. The new preptests were assembled by breaking apart and reassembling existing LSAT preptests. This chart shows you the original sections used to make each of the new-format LSAT Preptests. You can also find the original date the LSAT section was created, the original section that the section had within its PT, and explanations for the preptests.

Use this tables to find out which old-format LSAT preptest sections were used to make new LSAT preptests. To take 158 as an example: its three scored sections come from PT 90 (From May 2020). Then an LR section from PT 91 (from May 2020) was used for its experimental section. PT 159 is an exception, see note below.

PT 159 note: PT 159 is the first new test released after the original 58. It was constructed from a mix of the April 2025 Disclosure PDF and the Feb 2024 Disclosure PDF. Which were originally administered in Feb 2014 and Feb 2015 respectively.

Original LSAT Preptest Conversion Table

This table shows you the original LSAT preptests, which were in active use until August 2024. Use this table to find out which new format preptese these old preptests appear in. You can also find explanations for the preptests.

LR1, LR2, RC = Take Pt 94 as an example. Its 1st LR went to PT 156. Its 2nd to 156 and its RC went to 156.

Preptests which did not get converted

The following preptests were not converted to the new format. They are currently available in this format through licensees. If you are studying for August or later, I recommend getting access to these for later use. Though hopefully LSAC continues to make them legally available.
