- The author says brevetoxin could have contributed, see line 57. Also, the author never distinguishes between the cause of skin lesions and the (alleged) infection.
- The author never says what makes it easy for brevetoxin to form. They just say it forms when the algae arrives. Synthetic toxins aren’t linked to algae formation.
- Lines 47-48 say we have no idea what effect brevetoxin has on dolphins.
- Lines 57 contradicts this. Brevetoxin may have contributed.
- CORRECT. Lines 45-47 support this. The dolphins began dying before brevetoxin arrived.
